Job Title: Electrical Foreman
Job Description
This role supports a recreation center remodel project, leading electrical work in a construction environment. You will perform journeyman-level tasks with minimal supervision after receiving instructions, focusing on light fixture installation, wire pulling, and conduit bending for a new structure.
Responsibilities
Perform journeyman-level electrical work on a recreation center remodel project with minimal supervision after receiving initial instructions.
Install a variety of light fixtures safely and accurately according to project specifications and electrical standards.
Pull wire for new and existing circuits, ensuring proper routing, labeling, and organization.
Measure, bend, and install conduit to support new electrical installations and structural requirements.
Assist in building and installing conduit systems for the new structure, including layout, assembly, and secure mounting.
Interpret instructions, plans, and layout details to complete assigned electrical tasks efficiently and correctly.
Work independently to complete daily tasks while coordinating effectively with other trades on the construction site.
Follow all applicable safety procedures, including proper use of fall protection and boom lifts when required.
Inspect your own work to ensure quality, code compliance, and readiness for subsequent construction activities.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition throughout the project.
Essential Skills
6-8 years of experience performing electrical work at an apprentice to journeyman level.
Ability to work independently after receiving instructions, managing tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong proficiency in light fixture installation in a commercial or similar construction environment.
Hands-on experience with wire pulling for new construction and remodel projects.
Proven ability to bend and install conduit accurately using appropriate tools and methods.
Solid understanding of basic electrical construction practices and job site safety requirements.
Apprentice TDLR qualification or equivalent apprentice-level registration as required for electrical work.
Boom lift certification to safely operate lifts when performing elevated electrical tasks.
Fall protection training and ability to use fall protection equipment correctly on site.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on remodel projects, particularly in commercial or recreational facilities.
Comfort reading and following verbal instructions, sketches, or basic layout information for electrical installations.
Strong attention to detail and quality when installing fixtures, pulling wire, and building conduit systems.
Reliable work habits, including punctuality, consistent attendance, and adherence to site rules and safety policies.
Ability to collaborate with other trades and site personnel to complete work efficiently in a shared construction environment.
No journeyman license is required for this role at this time.

Work Environment
This role is based on an active construction site for a recreation center remodel. You will work primarily with electrical tools and equipment related to light fixture installation, wire pulling, and conduit bending, including the use of boom lifts and fall protection gear when required. The environment includes typical construction site conditions such as noise, dust, and varying weather exposure, and you will need to move throughout the site, work at heights when necessary, and navigate around other trades and ongoing construction activities. Appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment are required in accordance with site safety standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
