Environmental Technician (Entry-Level)

Entry-level position with opportunity for advancement. Candidates must be comfortable with regional travel and working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

Perform air emissions testing and monitoring services at a variety of industrial clients.

Record and analyze data, collect samples.

Transport and set up testing equipment using a company vehicle; dismantle equipment post-testing.

Calibrate testing equipment and assist engineers in conducting air quality testing procedures.

Adhere to environmental, health, and safety protocols.

Organize and prepare equipment for upcoming projects.

Gain proficiency in EPA Test Methods 1-5 using company resources.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field is preferred.

Previous experience working in a field-based / hands-on role.

Team player with strong initiative

Ability to travel during the work week

Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Additional Information:

Career Path: Test Technician - Test Engineer I/II - Project Supervisor - Project Manager - Sr. Project Manager.

Company vehicle provided for travel. All travel time, expenses, lodging + additional $72 per diem are paid by company.

Frequent overtime when working in the field, paid at 1.5x rate.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crown Point, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
