Summary This position is located at US Mint,Office of the Director - Sales Operations Branch. As a Retail Sales and Convention Specialist, you will be supporting the Division by providing customer service analysis, and/or Sales and Marketing (SaM) product sales and program assistance. Functions covered by the position include: top-tier customer service operations, assistance, and analysis; vendor monitoring; support for the Mint headquarters kiosk and external sales events. . Responsibilities The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Complete top-tier customer service operations, assistance, and analysis; vendor monitoring; support for the Mint headquarters kiosk and external sales events; oversight of external physical inventories; and/or sales outreach. Responsible to assist in all merchandising and retail sales functions, including product setup and launch, inventory planning, control, and accountability. Systematically collect, analyze and interpret numismatic marketing data. Perform complex marketing planning and analysis, and associated functions that address critical agency priorities and objectives and strategic plans. For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. OR Education: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or an LL.M., in a related field.
