Join Our Team as a Full Time Administrative Assistant for our Suffolk TASC program! Are you passionate about supporting the justice involved population, and making a real difference in their lives? EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 80,000 people through 120 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Administrative Assistant for our Suffolk TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities) program. Wage: $23 per hour Schedule: 9AM-5PM, Monday- Friday Location: Onsite Suffolk TASC Office - 320 Carleton Ave in Central Islip, NY Primary Purpose of Job:The Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Program Director in coordinating program operations for the TASC program.Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Assist Director and Supervisor in coordinating daily operations of the program Answer, screen and direct phone calls and perform receptionist function at program office. Handle petty cash and fee collection, credit card, bank deposits and reconciliation. Perform typing and general office duties. Collect, review and input client admissions, rejections and pending cases into databases and assist Program Director and Supervisor in compiling monthly reports. Oversee office supplies, maintain inventory, prepare purchase orders/invoice for Program Director review and perform administrative duties as needed. Perform prescreening of potential clients and set client intake appointment schedules Oversee on and offsite storage files, maintain office equipment inventory Assist the Case Management Unit with all aspects of case coordination and preparation for monthly audit. Maintain Audit Log Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC Administration. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: HS Diploma or educational equivalent required, degree preferred. Minimum of one-year work experience in either human services or alcohol/substance abuse programs required. Must have pleasant phone manner, good communication skills, both oral and written as well as the ability to work cooperatively with treatment providers and court personnel. Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments. Minimum of two years of relevant office required.
