Job Description:
The Global Markets Project Manager role will support the end to end delivery of high priority, complex Global Markets initiatives. This includes working through all phases of project delivery from project planning, defining business requirements, design, testing and implementation. The individual will need to work collaboratively with Global Markets Trading Desks, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk and other departments to develop the approach and plans to deliver the initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on large, complex business initiatives and understanding of Global Markets products/functions. The ability to partner and effectively communicate across the organization is an important factor in successfully delivering projects.
Role Responsibilities:
Effectively plan and manage the end to end delivery of Global Markets initiatives
Engage and partner with initiative stakeholders across Global Markets business leaders, technology managers, data management, risk and other functions to develop initiative delivery plans and implement solutions
Coordinate initiative routines to keep stakeholders informed on Global Markets initiatives including project status routines, tracking critical path milestones and monitoring the overall business success metrics.
Identify, track and resolve issues, risks and action items related to Global Markets initiatives
Develop and coordinate key project deliverables, including defining project scope and success metrics, gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, supporting solution design, and producing integrated project and implementation plans to drive successful execution.
Manage and execute multiple, competing priorities to meet deadlines while ensuring adherence to enterprise policies and procedures.
Strategize, collaborate and assist Global Markets Trading desk and other business leaders with defining the future book of work
Required Skills:
Previous Project Management or equivalent experience working on large scale and complex business initiatives
Experience successfully delivering complex initiatives
An understanding of Global Markets products and supporting technology
Knowledge of processes, procedures and policies that govern change and technology at Bank of America, including the Bank of America's Enterprise Change Management Policies and Standards
Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information
Professional approach that is clear, well thought out and with appropriate attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities with limited supervision
Excellent proficiency using Microsoft office products, particularly Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Ability to leverage artificial intelligence tools to enhance personal productivity and project delivery
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
