Responsible for ongoing management, the bank\'s Model Risk Management Program including continuous enhancements in compliance with applicable regulations and industry practices. The incumbent will be responsible for leadership of the Model Risk Management program and other operational risk programs as defined. This position will create and drive policies, program, oversight and reporting in line with regulatory expectations and industry best practice. The incumbent will establish cross-functional partnerships with various Business Lines to ensure strong communication, partnership and a consistent application of Program requirements and reporting. As needed, the incumbent will also maintain partnerships with third-party providers utilized to carry out certain elements of the program, most notably model validations. As the Manager of the Model Risk Program, the incumbent may also develop and maintain oversight of offshore resources utilized to carry out certain elements of the program as deemed necessary by Senior Risk Management. Additionally, the incumbent will use a logical, risk-based thought process and experience to perform independent analytics and effective challenge that will assist management with risk identification, root cause analysis, and ongoing monitoring of overall risk profiles. This role will be a liaison with independent testing and regulatory bodies for review and oversight along with support of Senior Risk Management for committee and board reports.
