Responsibilities*

Administrative Support of Faculty and Division Operations

Calendar management

Maintenance of CV's

Conference and meeting support

Event planning and implementation

Clinical operations support

Agenda record maintenance

Supply ordering

Lab operations support

Travel arrangements

Pre and Post Award Support

Basic pre and post award support as needed - UFAs, expense reports

Division Project Support

As needed

Required Qualifications*

High school diploma and 2 years of professional work experience.

Desired Qualifications*

Knowledge of University policies and procedures

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and groups from a variety of identities, culture, backgrounds, ideologies, including personal and social identities.

Strong organizational skills.

Team oriented individual.

Ability to think critically and exercise a high level of initiative.

Discretion and judgement regarding sensitive and confidential matters.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
