Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Fabrication Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to support the Emergent Operations Team based out of Renton, Washington on 3rd shift .

As a member of the Leadership team, you will continuously lead and develop Manufacturing Teams. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills that will further enable our business unit to embrace and elevate a One BPS culture, driving a deep understanding of the One BPS principles, standards, production health and problem-solving model.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas

Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Leads, develops and motivates employees

Basic First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment

1+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or One Boeing Production System (One BPS)

1+ years of experience managing Key Performance Indicators within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Manufacturing data

Pay & Benefits:

The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $119,000 - $161,000.
