Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) seeks a Test Engineer (Entry-Level) to join our team in Heath, OH (35 minutes East of Columbus, Ohio) that produces hardware for the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy Guidance, and other military programs .

Position Responsibilities :

Participate in gathering and analyzing requirements for test measurement systems.

Assist in the development of test procedures , and instrumentation and configuration definition to perform the test within the constraints of the test plan.

Develop solutions to calibration systems problems.

Perform data analysis , develop and utilize data processing tools.

Design simple component level hardware or software.

Use analytical tools to verify design.

Verify collection of complete data sets.

Maintain test logs, prepare simple test report and archive data.

This position is expected to be worked fully onsite in Heath, OH.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Related engineering experience through internships, co-ops, or academic projects.

If not already within commuting distance to Heath, OH, willingness and ability to relocate at your own expense.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Knowledge of military hardware .

Experience starting production lines.

Understanding of nonconformance processes .

Experience with vibration and thermal stress test setups.

Schematic experience.

Production support experience.

Experience troubleshooting analog and digital electronic devices .

Production support experience.

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range is $71,400 to $96,600.
