Construction Manager
On site - Pasco, WA
Kelly statement of work Contract 6 month + (Holday, Vaca and sick time)
Hourly 50hr- 75hr+ (1.5 OT over 40hrs)

We are seeking an On-Site Construction Manager to manage and coordinate the installation phases of projects, ensuring technical success from start to finish. You will rely on your expert communication skills while working directly with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams. You will report to the Lead Project Manager for each project, maintaining transparency to ensure installation-related issues are resolved promptly and proactively, while meeting or exceeding deadlines and scope expectations.
You must be local to the Pasco, WA area and willing to report on-site.
You will:
Oversee the low-voltage subcontractor's scope and schedule related to the installation of material handling systems.
Deliver the installation portion of projects on time and within budget, as defined by the Lead Project Manager.
Facilitate communication between clients and subcontractors in coordination with the Lead Project Manager.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop labor resource plans and quality control strategies that align with project schedules and budgets.
Maintain control of project scope and ensure compliance with functional requirements specifications (FRS) and contract terms. Clearly define subcontractor scope, manage change orders, and identify opportunities to expand scope in support of client objectives.
Develop and manage project cost budgets and reporting, including tracking estimated cost at completion, earned value, and contingency. Forecast monthly costs to avoid overruns.
Partner with the project team to achieve milestones on schedule and within budget. Coordinate with operations to ensure appropriate resource allocation and timing. Communicate progress effectively to both internal teams and clients, and advocate for project success. Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
Act as an ambassador of core values, prioritizing client success and the professional growth of team members.
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent educational background
10+ years of experience in project and/or construction management
Proficiency in project and construction management principles, methods, and tools
Experience with industrial controls in areas such as material handling systems, data centers, building management, consumer products, automotive, food & beverage, process industries, energy management, or similar
Experience in building construction and managing subcontractors
A strong collaborative and team-oriented mindset
You may have:
Knowledge of low-voltage installation, including conduit and cabling
Experience with project management software such as MS Project
Experience managing control systems, HMI, and other industrial projects
Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) solutions and implementation
Background as a tradesperson related to MHE
Experience installing MHE in distribution centers or intralogistics environments
