As a Security Officer Entry Control in WEST POINT, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will help maintain a visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in a role that values agility, reliability, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor access in accordance with location protocols, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter access points, as assigned.

Help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic and delivery coordination at controlled entry points, and communicate clearly with staff regarding security-related procedures and/or restrictions.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
