Job Title: Warehouse Loader - Weekend Day Shift
Job Description
The Weekend Warehouse Loader role will be responsible for hands-on warehouse operations within a large, modern distribution center. Weekend Shift employees receive, put away, pick, and ship products by hand while safely handling merchandise coming off conveyors and preparing it for shipment. The position requires frequent lifting, continuous standing throughout the shift, and careful attention to safety, accuracy, and product quality. Successful contractors who perform well may have the opportunity for long-term employment. Shift schedule is 6:00am-6:00pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Warehouse experience is not required, physical work experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Receive, put away, pick, and ship products by hand within a high-volume distribution center.
Take products coming off conveyors and palletize them in preparation for shipment.
Move products from pallets onto conveyors to support continuous warehouse flow.
Grasp and lift heavy and bulky merchandise from floor to overhead and carry it safely.
Lift and handle merchandise weighing up to at least 70 pounds, including frequent 50-pound lifts and team lifts as needed.
Verify counts of products received and selected for shipment to ensure accuracy.
Safely operate industrial lift trucks and other motorized and non-motorized equipment to unload trailers, transport, select, stock, and load merchandise, once trained and authorized.
Place and remove merchandise by hand onto and from racks and pallets as it is processed through the facility.
Load and unload trailers by hand from floor to ceiling while maintaining safe stacking and handling practices.
Observe incoming and outgoing merchandise for manufacturer defects and damage and handle items appropriately.
Handle all merchandise carefully to avoid damage during receiving, processing, and shipping.
Maintain a clean and safe assigned work area by removing debris and cleaning spills promptly.
Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to training.
Work 12-hour shifts on the weekend schedule (Friday through Sunday) while consistently standing and performing repetitive physical tasks.
Demonstrate a reliable, safety-focused, and positive attitude while working as part of a warehouse team.
Essential Skills
Ability to routinely lift and carry up to at least 70 pounds and frequently lift 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to grasp, lift, and move heavy and bulky merchandise from floor to overhead by hand.
Comfort with standing for the entire 12-hour shift and performing repetitive physical tasks.
Experience or comfort with general labor, packing, and warehouse distribution work.
Experience with picking, shipping, and receiving in a distribution center environment.
Ability to load and unload trailers by hand from floor to ceiling.
Attention to detail when verifying product counts and inspecting merchandise for defects or damage.
Ability to safely handle merchandise without causing damage during processing.
Willingness to follow safety protocols and complete safety training, including the proper use of PPE.
Reliable attendance and a positive, safety-conscious attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on warehouse lines and in distribution centers.
Experience with lifting boxes and heavy lifting in a warehouse or similar environment.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and documentation.
Experience operating industrial lift trucks or other warehouse equipment (training provided for eligible employees).
Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment where temperatures may be higher in the summer.
Ability to work a fixed weekend schedule of Friday-Sunday, 12-hour shifts from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Willingness to remain in a contract role with potential for long-term opportunities based on performance.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area in a large, high-volume facility.

The job is physically demanding, requiring continuous standing, frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, the ability to lift at least 70 pounds, and regular team lifts. Employees work around conveyors, pallets, racks, trailers, and industrial lift trucks, using provided personal protective equipment such as gloves and safety glasses. The break areas include an on-site cafeteria, a 24/7 quick shop for food and sandwiches, ping pong tables, video games, massage chairs, lounge chairs, televisions, and a large outdoor patio, creating a comfortable and engaging environment during breaks while maintaining a professional distribution center setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
