Job Title: Warehouse Receiver
Job Description
This Warehouse role supports both the Receiving and Parts Counter departments in a large, modern aviation hangar. You will help ensure that aircraft parts are accurately received, inspected, documented, and staged, as well as support inventory control and parts distribution to mechanics. The position runs on a 4 day, 10 hour work shift schedule and requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and dependable communication. The positions are either on a day shift or a night shift schedule, with Receiving/Shipping operating 10 hour days (Wednesday through Saturday).
Responsibilities
Receive incoming parts each morning, handling packages safely and efficiently.
Perform receiving inspections, including visually checking parts and confirming they match shipping documentation.
Complete all receiving paperwork accurately, including scanning forms and documenting carrier information such as UPS or FedEx and dates of arrival.
Record part numbers and other key details, stamp forms, and take clear photos of products as required.
Verify parts in the IMOPS computer system after training, ensuring data is accurate and complete.
Send daily emails to communicate receiving status, discrepancies, and other updates to internal stakeholders.
Stage verified materials on carts in an organized manner to support efficient workflow.
Support the Parts Counter department by performing cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Pull reserve orders and parts for mechanics and technicians in a timely and accurate manner.
Conduct re-inspections of parts as needed to confirm condition and compliance.
Count products and document inventory costs using the inventory management system.
Use IMOPS and other inventory management tools to track, update, and reconcile parts and stock levels.
Pick parts for technicians and ensure correct parts are delivered to the appropriate work areas.
Assist with parts staging to ensure items are ready for use and clearly labeled.
Perform data entry related to inventory, receiving, and shipping activities with a high level of accuracy.
Apply safe warehouse practices, including proper use of equipment and adherence to facility guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to support smooth warehouse operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-documented work area in both Receiving and Parts Counter functions.
Essential Skills
Experience with receiving inspection in a warehouse or similar environment.
Hands-on inventory experience, including counting and tracking stock.
Cycle counting experience to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Experience picking parts for technicians or mechanics.
Experience with parts staging and organizing materials for use.
Familiarity with inventory management systems, including updating and reviewing records.
Basic data entry skills with the ability to input information accurately.
Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems such as IMOPS.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and inventory control.
Reliable communication skills, including the ability to send clear, professional emails.
Dependability and consistency in attendance and work performance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, or picking roles.
Experience using an inventory management system in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Forklift experience, especially for Receiving department openings, is preferred.
Experience in installation or working with parts in a technical or mechanical setting is beneficial.
Interest in or exposure to the aviation industry and aircraft parts handling.
Ability to work a fixed day or night shift schedule, including weekends as required by the shift pattern.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, newer facility that is clean, well lit, and organized, providing a professional and efficient warehouse environment focused on operations. The company is expanding, adding new lines of work to service more product and customers, which contributes to a dynamic and growth-oriented atmosphere. Temperatures can be chilly in colder months or warm in hotter months due to the opening and closing of hangar doors, so extra clothing layers are recommended in winter. The dress code requires closed-toe footwear such as steel-toed boots, gym shoes, or work boots, along with jeans without rips or tears and a comfortable, appropriate work shirt. The positions are either on a day shift or a night shift schedule, with Receiving/Shipping operating 10 hour days (Wednesday through Saturday) and work is supported by tools such as the IMOPS inventory management system and standard warehouse equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
