Part-Time Permit Office Attendant - Sam Wahl Recreation Area

: The purpose of this position is to perform technical and administrative work involving permit applications and days fees at Lake Alan Henry. This is accomplished by receiving, processing, reviewing, and issuing permits; and providing customer service.

: - Complete permit applications by receiving, reviewing, processing, and issuing permits; and entering, storing, and retrieving permit information.

Complete day to day paperwork and cash reports.

Perform clerical duties as required;

Perform related duties as directed.

: Completion of a high school diploma or any combination of education and experience that provides the following: Additional Qualifications:

Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;

Excellent customer service skills;

This is a year-round position. Must be able to work some weekends. Minimum 15 hours per week required.

: Knowledge of: Office practices and procedures, cash handling and reporting, data entry, filing, answering phones, and assisting customers;

Ability to:

Maintain records and prepare pertinent reports;

Work independently in the absence of specific instructions;

Communicate effectively orally and in writing;

Complete other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds;

Push and pull objects in order to set up tables and displays;

Occasionally flex upper trunk forward at the waist and partially flex at the knees in order to retrieve objects from the safe;

Place arms above, at or below shoulder height.
