If youre passionate about workforce development and ready to grow professionally in a mission-driven environment, PACE is where your impact and career take off!Position Summary:Provide interactive and motivational vocational workshops to PACE participants, including job preparation, sector-based overview and instruction, job search assistance, online applications and resume preparation. Develop and enhance clients work-related skills in preparation for job placement or other engagement activities in the HRA PACE model.Essential Functions: Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual workshops on career readiness, self-assessment, and professional development. Teach engaging in-person and virtual workshops on career readiness, self-assessment, and professional development. Motivate participants through interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and digital tools. Collaborate with staff to connect job-ready clients with opportunities and track progress. Maintain accurate documentation and support overall program goals. Knowledge, Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, must have an associate's degree with a minimum of five (5) year of work-related experience or must have a high school diploma or equivalency with a minimum of seven (7) year of work-related experience. Experience working with public assistance population. Experience working in employment services or in social service-related field. * Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients.Salary $50,000About Us:NADAPs Pathways for Access to Careers and Employment (PACE) program is a new career services initiative funded by NYC's Human Resources Administration working with adults and youth, ages 18+, receiving cash assistance. PACE is designed to improve employment and training outcomes and provides individualized career planning, skills development, credential attainment, employment preparation, job placement and retention services.NADAP, Inc. is a multiservice non-profit agency dedicated to helping people with medical, behavioral health and social service needs to become sufficient. NADAP programs assist disadvantaged populations in New York City and Nassau County.
