Housekeeper

Primary Responsibilities

Guest Room Servicing:

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas.

Change bed linens and towels according to property standards.

Vacuum floors, dust furniture, and clean windows/mirrors.

Replenish guest amenities (soap, shampoo, coffee, etc.) and kitchen supplies.

Operational Excellence:

Execute daily tasks and dutieswith precision to ensure rooms are ready for check-in by the designated time.

Maintain organized housekeeping carts and stock rooms.

Identify and report maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, lighting) immediately to ensure guest comfort.

Safety and Compliance:

Handle all cleaning chemicals safely and according to SDS guidelines.

Follow property security protocols regarding guest privacy and key control.

Ensure all lost and found items are logged and stored correctly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Attention to Detail:

Ability to spot small inconsistencies and maintain a high standard of "spotless" cleanliness.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods. Must be able to move carts and lift up to 25-50 lbs.

Professionalism:

Maintain a polite and helpful demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.

Reliability:

Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays, to support 24/7 hotel operations.

Work Environment

Fast-paced and active.

Involves frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and high-temperature environments.

Requires close coordination with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
