Position: Administrative Assistant I (Temporary, 6 Weeks)

Location: Martinez, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM (Possible Tues/Thurs, 25-30 hours/week)

Compensation: $25-$30 per hour

Organization: Childcare/Mental Health Non-Profit

Team Size: 5 About the Role:

Join a small, friendly team as an Administrative Assistant I for a 6-week temporary assignment. You'll support daily office operations in a casual and collaborative environment, with two small dogs on site. This is a working interview opportunity. Key Responsibilities:

Reception duties; greet clients and visitors

Create, format, and edit documents using Apple computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Organize and maintain both manual and digital files

Order office supplies and manage inventory

Distribute incoming and outgoing mail

Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Prior experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist preferred

Proficiency with Apple computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks

Comfortable in a casual, pet-friendly office setting

Team player who enjoys supporting a collaborative environment
