How you'll make an impact in this role

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the long term care setting in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.

Implement and monitor individualized care plans.

Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to carry out nursing orders.

Promote resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
