Job Purpose & Scope

Provide support to the Commercial Banking team regarding loan production and related banking services to foster and deepen the Commercial and Consumer relationships that aligns with the OZK Way and the Commercial Bank Vision Statement.

Essential Job Functions

Administer various loan documentation and information throughout the loan life cycle, including escalating items as necessary to provide excellent client experiences.

Facilitate and coordinate the loan process, including loan application input, loan funding, advances, issue payoff quotes, manage releases, and general ledger management.

Exemplify relationship excellence between clients, Commercial Bankers and Business Partners.

Timely coordination with appraisal services, attorneys, environmental service providers, title companies, insurance companies, and other third-party providers.

Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy.

Serve as first point of contact for all internal and external calls.

Stay current with Bank products and services to identify and anticipate client needs.

Oversee and review reports including but not limited to Past Due Report, Maturity Report, Collateral Exception Report, Financial Exception Report, Discrepancy Report, and other reports as requested.

Assemble and maintain loan files.

Prepare and mail correspondence as required.

Provide support to other business lines as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of basic elements required to close a loan.

Knowledge of loan applicant software.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple priorities.

Ability to perform under general supervision.

Ability to handle confidential information

Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Ability to demonstrate problem solving ability.

Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Ability to succeed in a team environment.

Ability to produce high volume and credible work with attention to detail.

Ability to produce time sensitive work, consistently meeting deadlines.

Skill in using computer and Microsoft office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum two (2) years of experience with banking or financial services preferred.

Minimum one (1) year experience with computers, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, required.

Minimum one (1) year administrative/clerical experience required.

NMLS, or successful completion of NMLS process within 30 days of hire, required.
