Manager, Marketing Data and Enablement
New York, NY, United States
Atlanta, GA, United States
Job Description
Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading payments provider for businesses of all sizes, with small businesses representing our largest and fastest-growing segment. The Small Business Marketing team drives acquisition and customer engagement across Banking, Lending, and Card products.
Within this organization, the Customer Activation team is focused on helping small businesses unlock the full value of their products through fast, simple, and effective marketing experiences - from day one and throughout their lifecycle. The Marketing Automation and Enablement team plays a critical role in enabling these experiences by building and scaling the capabilities, data, and processes required to deliver high-impact activation communications across Banking, Lending, and Card portfolios.
The Manager, Marketing Data & Enablement is a pivotal role at the center of this ecosystem. This individual will own marketing data readiness - ensuring the right data exists, is trusted, and is usable to deliver relevant, timely, and impactful customer experiences. You will serve as the bridge between marketing strategy and technical execution, translating business goals into clear data requirements and partnering with Product and Engineering to deliver reusable, scalable data solutions.
Beyond enabling individual campaigns, you will shape how marketing data is defined and used across the organization. This includes ensuring data is reusable across use cases, reducing one-off solutions, and building a strong foundation that supports more personalized and consistent customer engagement over time. You will also ensure that data requirements and validation standards support compliant, high-quality execution of both marketing and servicing communications.
Success in this role means campaigns launch with the right data in place, teams trust and confidently use the data, and new capabilities are delivered in a way that benefits multiple marketing initiatives - not just one. You will play a key role in improving speed to market, reducing rework, and unlocking more effective targeting and personalization at scale.
This is an opportunity to shape how marketing data is defined, built, and leveraged across the customer lifecycle - and to help lay the foundation for more integrated, cross-functional ways of working in the future.
Responsibilities
Translate marketing strategies into clear data requirements to support targeting, segmentation, and personalization
Lead data discovery for audience and personalization needs, identifying gaps and assessing data readiness and usability across platforms
Guide the application of audience attributes to ensure data is effectively leveraged for targeting, segmentation, and personalization

Establish and maintain data documentation and validation standards to ensure data quality and usability
Support operational health by proactively identifying data-related risks and enabling resolution ahead of campaign execution
Partner with marketing operations and developers to ensure data supports accurate and compliant campaign execution
Lead campaign investigations, partnering with developers to diagnose root causes and implement fixes
Support Card Early Tenure audience enablement, including in-house deployment and operations on the Flywheel tech stack
Own the end-to-end data intake and prioritization process, ensuring requests include clear requirements, defined use cases, and business impact
Drive cross-functional alignment on data priorities, dependencies, and timelines across Marketing, Product, and Engineering
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in marketing, marketing enablement, data strategy, product, analytics, or program management
Proven ability to translate business or marketing strategies into data requirements and scalable solutions
Strong systems thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and translate data needs across platforms
Familiarity with marketing data platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment across stakeholders
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data governance, documentation, or validation frameworks is a plus
Experience working with or influencing data roadmaps, backlogs, or prioritization frameworks
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
