Job Title: ADE - Field Sales Representative in KY
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a brand-new local delivery partner program in Kentucky. In this role, you recruit and onboard local businesses into a hub delivery partner network, working closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors. You will spend most of your time in the field visiting prospective businesses, pitching the program, qualifying leads, guiding applicants through the process in Salesforce, and supporting community-based recruitment events. The role requires regular travel of up to a 90-minute driving distance and offers uncapped commission tied to each partner you successfully convert.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective local businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately a 90-minute driving distance.
Present and clearly pitch the new delivery partner program to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying.
Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and determine their suitability as delivery partners.
Guide qualified businesses step by step through the application and onboarding process.
Record, track, and manage all lead and pipeline activity using Salesforce, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to maintain accurate records of prospects and partners.
Collaborate closely with the Field Manager and other local contractors to plan, coordinate, and host recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Work with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of potential delivery partners.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and new partners, answering questions and resolving issues that arise during the application process.
Demonstrate professionalism and urgency in follow-up communications to move prospects through the pipeline efficiently.
Identify and solve problems for applicants in the field, using sound judgment and available tools to remove barriers to onboarding.
Use multiple technology systems and tools effectively while working remotely and in the field.
Travel daily within a radius of up to approximately three hours round trip to visit businesses and attend recruitment events.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in an outside sales environment.
Field sales experience.
Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM system to manage leads and pipeline activity.
CRM experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
Ability to travel up to approximately three hours round trip on a daily basis.
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present and pitch a program to business owners.
Proven ability to qualify leads and guide customers through an application or onboarding process.
High level of professionalism and reliability when representing the program to local businesses and community partners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-first mindset.
Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers.
Field sales experience is considered a strong plus.
Enthusiasm for working with others and collaborating as part of a field-based team.
High sense of urgency and strong follow-through in managing leads and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail when handling applications, data entry, and Salesforce records.
Ability to solve problems for applicants in the field and remove obstacles during the onboarding process.
Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools, including Excel and CRM platforms.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role focused on recruiting local businesses in and around Kentucky, with a preferred location in or near Middlesboro, KY. You will spend much of your time traveling within a radius of up to approximately 90 minutes one way (about three hours round trip) to visit prospective partners and attend community recruitment events. Work is performed primarily on the road and on-site at local businesses, supported by regular use of technology tools such as Salesforce and Excel for lead management and reporting. The position operates with an uncapped commission structure tied to partner conversions, along with reimbursement for mileage and a monthly phone bill expense, reflecting the mobile nature of the role. You collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, engage with community organizations and business associations, and help shape a growing territory around a local delivery station. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
