Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
This role supports a busy paint line in a manufacturing facility by hanging parts on hooks to move through the painting and drying process and then removing finished parts and stacking them in shipping carts. You work on your feet for most of the shift and consistently lift parts weighing between 10 and 30 pounds while helping maintain an efficient and safe production flow.
Responsibilities
Hang parts on hooks along the paint line so they move correctly through the painting and drying equipment.
Remove painted and dried parts from hooks and stack them neatly and safely in shipping carts.
Lift and move parts weighing 10-30 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
Follow established production procedures to keep the paint line running smoothly and on schedule.
Visually inspect parts as they come off the paint line and notify the appropriate person of any obvious defects or issues.
Work safely around paint, paint-spraying equipment, and related production machinery, including robotic welding equipment in the area as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity.
Communicate clearly with team members and support a cooperative, customer-focused production environment.
Stand and move continuously for 8 to 10 hours per shift while performing repetitive production tasks.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of consistent work history within the past 12 months.
Ability to stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours at a time in a production environment.
Ability to consistently lift and move 10-30 pounds throughout the shift.
Comfort working with general labor and production tasks in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures on a paint line.
Basic understanding of safe work practices around paint, paint-spraying equipment, and production machinery.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, production, or manufacturing roles.
Familiarity with paint lines, paint spraying processes, or similar finishing operations.
Exposure to construction or other physically demanding work.
Comfort working around robotic welding or similar automated equipment.
Customer service mindset, with a focus on quality and meeting production needs.
Ability to work well in a small, close-knit team where communication and cooperation are important.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility located in a very small community, with around 100 employees in a town of about 400 people. You work on a production floor around paint lines, paint-spraying equipment, and other manufacturing machinery, including robotic welding equipment in the area. The role is physically active, requiring you to stand and move for 8 to 10 hours per shift and regularly lift 10-30 pounds. The standard schedule is a first-shift role from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt or sweatshirt, and steel-toed boots. The company provides personal protective equipment, but you supply your own safety glasses if you prefer a special @type.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
