The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the success of a lean line that manufactures Turbine Blades. The ME will be responsible for the application of S-Q-D-C in the lean line.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
Developing in-depth knowledge of a machining.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Utilize daily management and problem solving techniques to improve the manufacturing processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in technical engineering from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering / Manufacturing
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Working knowledge of CNC Machining
Working knowledge of wEDM, sEDM, grinders and mills
Established project management skills
Eligibility Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
Must work 100% onsite at the GE Greenville, SC plant - Garlington Road

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
