Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support a busy litigation team in Rapid City, South Dakota. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys being a key player behind the scenes.

In this role, you'll work closely with attorneys handling a variety of litigation matters, including personal injury and wrongful death cases, business and contract disputes, and professional defense matters.

What You'll Do

Manage calendars, deadlines, appointments, and court-related scheduling

Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents in state and federal court

Organize and maintain electronic and hard-copy case files

Coordinate travel, meetings, depositions, and conference calls

Transcribe attorney dictation

Prepare outgoing mail and assist with occasional deliveries

Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and outside contacts

Assist attorneys and paralegals with case workflows and trial preparation

Support daily office operations and administrative needs

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required

Typing speed of 50+ WPM preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

Previous legal administrative experience is a plus
