JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator supports the organization\'s mission by increasing community awareness, strengthening relationships, & promoting programs & events. This role combines marketing, communications, & community engagement responsibilities. Success in this position requires a collaborative, organized, & adaptable team member who is willing to support a variety of organizational needs. You\'ll help shape & strengthen the voice of VCWC through clear, engaging, & mission-driven communication. Key Skills & Qualifications Strong written & verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects & deadlines simultaneously Comfortable working independently & collaboratively within a small team Experience with social media platforms & basic marketing tools Strong organizational skills & attention to detail Friendly, professional, & engaging community presence Passion for community service & nonprofit work Key Marketing Duties Content & Design: Create & manage content across marketing channels including social media, newsletters, handouts/collateral, signage, & websites for VC & The Hub Assist with storytelling, impact reporting, & highlighting success stories Capture photo & video content during programs & events Organize & maintain content libraries & marketing tools such as Canva & Google Drive Marketing Email: Assist with contact strategy, campaign planning, & content development Help maintain accurate contact lists & audience segmentation Schedule & deploy marketing emails & communications Social Media: Help manage strategy across all social media channels Maintain a consistent brand presence & voice across platforms Manage content plans for both VC & The Hub while balancing brand awareness, program promotion, & community impact messaging Website Content Management Update website content as needed Utilize the event section to consistently promote events & opportunities for community involvement Coordinate communication with outside agencies or vendors for website support & development needs Maintain Brand Voice: Ensure consistent messaging, tone, & visual identity across all marketing channels Calendar & Prioritization: Manage marketing calendars & communication schedules to support organizational priorities Measurement & Reporting: Track & report basic marketing performance metrics Apply insights & best practices to improve future campaigns, including engagement, reach, & email performance Community Outreach Support Represent the organization at community events & outreach opportunities as needed Assist with planning & promotion for programs & special events Support event logistics including signage, slideshows, & event communications Provide on-site support during events & volunteer program activities Perform other duties as needed.
