Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
The Warehouse Associate safely operates industrial trucks, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, to load, unload, transport, and stack goods in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment. This role focuses on accurate material handling, inventory management, and order preparation to support a high-volume operation serving data center logistics.
Responsibilities
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks safely to load, unload, transport, and stack goods within the warehouse and distribution areas.
Conduct pre-shift and routine safety checks on forklifts, reach trucks, and related equipment to ensure proper and safe operation.
Handle materials efficiently, including moving pallets, cartons, and other inventory items to designated storage and staging locations.
Perform order picking and packing activities to prepare customer orders accurately and on time for shipping.
Support general labor tasks such as staging materials, consolidating pallets, and maintaining organized work areas.
Assist with inventory management activities, including counting, tracking, and verifying stock locations and quantities.
Follow established warehouse processes and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in and successfully complete a forklift skills test within the first one to two days of employment.
Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, aisles, and storage areas to support efficient warehouse operations.
Essential Skills
Proven ability to safely operate industrial trucks, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks, in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
Demonstrated experience with material handling, including loading, unloading, transporting, and stacking goods.
Experience with order picking and preparing orders for shipping in a high-volume warehouse setting.
Ability to conduct and follow safety checks and procedures for forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Experience working in a 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse environment is strongly preferred.
Capability to support inventory activities, including counting, tracking, and organizing stock.
Willingness and ability to take and pass a forklift test during the first one to two days of employment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in handling and documenting inventory.
Ability to work effectively on assigned shift and adapt to a structured schedule in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience supporting logistics for data centers or similar high-security, high-accuracy operations.
Comfort working with standard warehouse processes and systems to manage inventory and orders.
Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with peers and supervisors.
Reliability and punctuality to support consistent operations across multiple shifts.
Willingness to perform general labor tasks in addition to forklift operation as needed.

Work Environment
This role is based in a high-volume warehouse and 3PL distribution environment that supports data center operations. The facility runs multiple shifts to provide 24/7 coverage, with structured schedules including: first shift Monday-Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; second shift Monday-Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; third shift Monday-Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.; weekend days Friday-Sunday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and weekend nights Friday-Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Team members regularly operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and reach trucks and perform material handling, order picking, and general warehouse tasks in a fast-paced, safety-focused setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.75/hr.
