CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking anEntry Level Mechanical Engineerto join ourGas Teamat aclient siteinSpring Valley, NY, where you will contribute to the development of resilient, forward-thinking gas infrastructure. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with skilled professionals, and build a strong foundation in utility engineering.

What You'll Do:

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for crucial transmission and distribution infrastructure for gas utilities

Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates

Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for optimizing installation, maintenance, and system reliability

Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of gas pipelines and related infrastructure

What You Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required

No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred

Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team

Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:

$75,000 - $78,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
