Our client, an automotive automation and manufacturing solutions company is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering Department supporting Automation Engineering and Design teams . The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail , problem-solving skills , and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Designer (Automation)

Location: Wixon, MI

Pay Range: $37 - $50

What's the Job?

Develop detailed mechanical designs and assembly drawings using SolidWorks

Design automation equipment and manufacturing cells for automotive applications

Collaborate with engineers to translate concepts into production-ready designs

Modify and improve existing designs based on project needs

Support project timelines with accurate and efficient design deliverables

What's Needed?

Mid to senior level experience in mechanical design

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks

Experience with automation equipment or manufacturing cell design

Background in the automotive industry

Ability to interpret concepts and independently create detailed designs
