Job Title: Machine Operator/ Material Handler

Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd

Hours

2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm

3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am

OT expected 5-10 hours per week

Pay: $22-$26/hour

Job Description

This role operates saws to cut metal bars and structural material according to work orders in a heavy metals manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator ensures accurate, high-quality cuts, performs in-process and final inspections, and handles material using a forklift while following strict safety procedures and production standards.

PLUS Forklift operation experience

Heavy industrial and/or metalworking experience

Basic machining experience (saw cutting preferred)

efficiency.

This is a heavy metals environment

It will get HOT in the summer.

Everyone's required to wear fire retardant shirts steel toed boots with covers, hard hats, ear plugs, and safety glasses

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.25/hr.
