Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role supports a high-technology, temperature-controlled warehouse that builds and ships computers and servers. You will work on either 1st shift (7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) or 2nd shift (3:30 p.m.-12:00 a.m.), with potential required Saturday work, and will be cross-trained across picking, packaging, and receiving to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials and orders.
Responsibilities
Verify materials received against purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Accurately pick, break down, and quality check orders for production in a timely manner.
Pick and prepare orders that ship directly to customers, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Operate a stand-up reach truck and other class 5 forklifts in compliance with OSHA requirements, when needed.
Prepare skids for freight shipments, including wrapping and strapping to secure products.
Stock bins and shelves with parts from receiving carts, the receiving area, and return-to-stock shelves.
Package systems and parts for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, protection, and quality control.
Perform quality control checks on systems and parts before shipping to customers.
Check in returned materials, including RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) and RTVs (Return to Vendor), and ensure proper processing.
Report damages and discrepancies to support accounting, reimbursement, and accurate record-keeping.
Ensure products are received from vendors in a timely and accurate manner and properly entered into inventory.
Prepare skids for outbound freight shipments, including wrapping, strapping, and labeling as required.
Participate in monthly meetings by contributing ideas and actively engaging in process improvements.
Assist with semi-annual physical inventories and perform weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Use RF scanners, computers, and Chromebooks to locate, pick, track, and update orders and inventory.
Print and apply labels accurately to orders, parts, and shipments.
Follow all warehouse procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and on-time order fulfillment.
Work scheduled shifts and be willing to support required Saturday work when needed, including the first and last Saturday of the month.
Essential Skills
1 to 3 years of warehouse experience.
1 to 3 years of RF scanner experience.
1 to 3 years of picking experience in a warehouse environment.
Strong computer skills, including the ability to use a computer and navigate a web browser on day one.
Ability to use RF scanners effectively from the first day.
Comfort reading very small printed labels with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.
Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions, labels, and documentation.
Comfort working required Saturdays when needed, including the first and last Saturday of the month.
Experience with basic warehouse functions such as picking, packing, material handling, receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control.
Ability to use RF scanners and Chromebooks for order processing, label printing, and inventory tracking.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders, labels, and inventory records.
Interest in or comfort with working around computers, servers, and related technology.
Capability to operate or learn to operate stand-up reach trucks and other class 5 forklifts in accordance with OSHA requirements.
Reliability in following processes, meeting deadlines, and supporting team goals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a warehouse for a computer or electronics company.
Passion for computers and technology, with curiosity about how systems and components fit together.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-technology environment using RF scanners, Chromebooks, and other digital tools.
Experience with label printing and applying labels accurately to products and shipments.
Background in inventory control, including cycle counting and participation in physical inventories.
Proven track record of reporting discrepancies and damages and supporting accurate record-keeping.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and participate in meetings.
Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA and company warehouse procedures.

Work Environment
The facility builds different @types of computers and servers for a variety of clients and operates as a high-technology, temperature-controlled, and extremely clean warehouse. The environment is very organized, with clear processes and use of RF scanners, Chromebooks, and computer-based systems to manage orders, inventory, and label printing. Both 1st shift (7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) and 2nd shift (3:30 p.m.-12:00 a.m.) are available, with potential required Saturday work, including the first and last Saturday of the month. The culture is relaxed and employee-friendly: team members can wear whatever they like and may wear headphones during their shift, as long as they remain safe and productive. A large cafeteria is available, stocked with free healthy snacks and drinks, and includes a foosball table, other activities, and a large TV that employees can enjoy during breaks. The warehouse itself is very clean and well-organized, with a fully temperature-controlled environment designed to keep both people and equipment comfortable while supporting efficient, high-quality work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
