Summary You will serve as an EMERGENCY PLANNING & FIRE SAFETY ANALYST in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Salary Ranges: GS-07: $52,680 - $68,485 per annum GS-09: $64,438 - $83,774 per annum Responsibilities You will be responsible for evaluating programs, monitoring compliance, and supporting operational readiness. You will collect, analyze, and evaluate program and operational data to identify trends, issues, and potential areas for improvement. You will maintains records of training, drills, audits, inspections, and corrective actions to support compliance and program evaluation. You will prepare reports, correspondence, briefings, and recommendations. You will coordinate and monitor administrative and operations processes to ensure completion of assignments. You will maintain compliance with manuals, codes and standards, overhaul specifications, and directives. You will conduct assessments, identify issues, and recommend corrective action. You will be plan, coordinate, and evaluate fire safety drills and emergency response exercises. You will participate in post-exercise evaluations and ensure implementation of lessons learned to improve emergency response processes and fire safety training programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and applying technical support in program management, compliance, and emergency preparedness for safety programs or operations for the development and review of emergency response plans/fire drill and safety practices to meet regulations and industry standards. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with fire prevention and emergency response efforts by analyzing and tracking costs, scheduling, maintaining data, files and records for the development and review of emergency response plans/fire drill and safety practices to meet regulations and industry standards.
