Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role supports day-to-day warehouse operations by handling, moving, and preparing products and materials for shipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Warehouse Worker safely operates warehouse equipment and hand tools, assists with picking and packing orders, and helps manage incoming and outgoing inventory while working comfortably in a warehouse setting with changing temperatures.
Responsibilities
Lift, carry, and move materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Assist with picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment according to established procedures and quality standards.
Handle materials and products safely and efficiently, ensuring items are stored, moved, and staged in the correct locations.
Assist with unpacking parts in preparation for receiving them into the Asset Management System, ensuring accurate handling and identification of items.
Operate warehouse equipment and hand tools such as tape dispensers, banding tools, pallet jacks, anti-static packaging tools, liquid foam fill packaging systems, shrink wrap equipment, box sizing tools, and scales.
Use RF scanners or similar devices to support order picking, inventory movements, and shipping processes as required.
Support shipping activities by preparing orders, verifying quantities, and ensuring packaging meets company standards.
Work in different warehouse departments as needed, adapting to various tasks such as packing, material handling, order picking, and shipping.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in a warehouse and product manufacturing environment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support smooth warehouse operations.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of warehouse experience in a similar role.
At least 6 months of picking and packing experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly during the workday.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment and hand tools used for packaging and material handling.
Willingness and ability to move between different departments and tasks as operational needs change.
Comfort working in a warehouse environment with exposure to changing temperatures.
Basic understanding of material handling and order picking processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a product manufacturing environment.
Experience with packaging equipment such as tape dispensers, banding tools, pallet jacks, anti-static packaging, liquid foam fill packaging, shrink wrap, box sizing tools, and scales.
Knowledge of Stock-Keeping Units (SKU) and basic inventory identification (desirable).
Approximately 4 months of forklift experience or exposure to forklift operations.
Any previous customer service experience that supports effective communication and teamwork in the warehouse.
Comfort using RF scanners or similar devices for order picking and inventory tracking.

Work Environment
The role is based in a warehouse and product manufacturing environment with exposure to changing temperatures. The position typically follows a full-time daytime schedule, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Work involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials, as well as operating warehouse equipment and packaging tools such as pallet jacks, tape dispensers, banding tools, anti-static packaging systems, liquid foam fill packaging, shrink wrap equipment, box sizing tools, and scales. Team members work collaboratively across different departments and may rotate between packing, material handling, order picking, and shipping tasks as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
