Data Center Construction Project Manager
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Construction Project Manager to lead field execution on a large scale, mission critical data center construction project. This role operates as the on site owner's representative, with direct responsibility for construction execution, contractor performance, MEP and low voltage coordination, schedule control, and quality oversight.
The position is hands on and field based, requiring strong knowledge of data center construction sequencing, critical infrastructure systems, and multi trade coordination. This role is execution focused and does not include design authority or multi site program management.

Core Responsibilities
Serve as the on site Owner's Representative, overseeing all construction execution activities
Manage daily field operations, including contractor coordination, sequencing, and site logistics
Oversee and coordinate multiple trades, including:
Electrical
Mechanical
Fire protection
Controls / BMS
Telecommunications and structured cabling
Drive construction progress against:
Approved schedules
Critical path activities
System level milestones and turnover readiness
Lead:
Daily site walks
Trade coordination meetings
Short interval and look ahead planning sessions
Coordinate installation and integration of critical data center systems, including:
Medium and low voltage power distribution
Switchgear, PDUs, UPS systems
Generators and fuel systems
Cooling infrastructure (chilled water, CRAH/CRAC systems)
Fire detection and suppression systems
Telecom pathways and structured cabling
Identify and resolve field issues impacting schedule, quality, safety, or system integration
Monitor construction quality, safety compliance, and scope execution
Escalate execution risks, constructability issues, and contractor performance concerns to project leadership
Required Technical Skills, Tools & Capabilities
Hands on experience delivering data center or other critical facilities construction projects
Strong working knowledge of:
Data center MEP systems and interdependencies
Mission critical construction sequencing and phasing
Commissioning and turnover readiness requirements
Ability to interpret:
Architectural, structural, MEP, and telecom construction drawings
Construction schedules and critical path logic
Contractor scopes, work packages, and submittals
Field experience with:
Quality control processes
Safety management on active construction sites
Contractor productivity and performance tracking
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, coordination, and escalation
Preferred Experience
Direct experience supporting data center builds or other mission critical facilities
Additional background in:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Infrastructure, or related discipline (preferred)

Location: On site at active construction project (Tulsa, OK)
Work Type: 100% on site
Schedule: Standard 40 hour work week

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.
