Revenue Accounting Manager

Our client, a leader in the transportation and travel industry, is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join their team. As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Revenue Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Revenue Accounting Manager

Location: REMOTE

What's the Job?

Manage, train, and develop a team of senior and staff accountants to ensure efficient support to the business.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the revenue accounting team, acting as the primary point of contact for critical information needs.

Ensure timely completion of all aspects of the monthly close process, including variance analysis and reporting.

Review financial reporting packages and analyze monthly results to identify trends and explain movements to management.

Coordinate with various departments to support internal and external audit requirements related to revenue accounting.

What's Needed?

Proven experience in revenue accounting, preferably within the transportation or travel industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of internal control procedures and compliance standards such as Sarbanes-Oxley.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and management levels.
