Operations Assistant (Supply Chain/Logistics)

Position Summary:

Performs general administrative responsibilities including filing, faxing, scanning, creating & maintaining files, and sorting mail.

Major Responsibilities:

Supports applicable financial functions (i.e. payroll, creating Purchase Orders, process A/P)

Gathering, tracking, reporting of data, conducting basic audits

Answer and respond to general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

Order, receive and store office supplies, prepare memos, track associate documentation as required

Coordinate maintenance of office equipment

Accountable for maintaining a safe work environment

Works within a project budget as applicable

Meets deadlines for reports and activities

Adherence to company guidelines and expectations

Other projects as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Inter / Intranet use required

Must have strong organizational skills

Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others in a team environment

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

-Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
