As a Security Officer Industrial Driving Patrol in New Bern, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access awareness, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and communicating with site contacts when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access according to site protocols, and report suspicious, unauthorized, and/or unusual behavior to the appropriate personnel.

Support daily operations by observing equipment areas, loading and shipping zones, and common areas for security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or hazards, then escalating issues through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
