Opportunity Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation semiconductor test platforms, supporting mechanical design, system integration, and product development initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into robust, manufacturable mechanical solutions.

Develop and refine mechanical designs for semiconductor test systems, applying best practices to solve complex engineering challenges

Translate system-level requirements into scalable mechanical architectures supporting precision signal delivery and docking solutions

Drive design tradeoffs across performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost constraints

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global suppliers to ensure alignment of requirements, risks, and production readiness

Support product development activities including design reviews, change management, and project execution

Contribute to platform-level solutions that meet reliability, thermal, and system integration requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering with 3-8 years of relevant industry experience

Strong proficiency in CAD and simulation tools, including SOLIDWORKS and FEA tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation

Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentals

Experience solving component and subsystem-level engineering problems in a collaborative development environment

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through documentation, reports, and cross-functional discussions

Experience working with cross-functional teams and supporting product development from concept through production

Additional Information

Familiarity with SEMI standards is a plus

Ability to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
