Job Summary

Performs statistical/biostatistical design, modeling and analysis. Applies matching learning methods. Extracts data from existing databases or literature and performs statistical/biostatistical/machine learning reviews. Organizes data for statistical/biostatistical/machine learning analysis, with guidance.

Prepares, analyzes and interprets complex data using statistical modeling, machine learning or advanced algorithms. Develops complete or partial analytical pipelines or algorithms that go from raw data to final products for the end user using appropriate programming languages. The tasks may vary from descriptions or statistics, to advanced insights on complex and heterogenous data streams.

Responsibilities

Compiles and analyzes data collected and writes various reports or sections of reports/presentations.

Prepares tables, graphics or software tool components using statistical/biostatistical/machine learning capabilities.

Completes assigned project work within schedule and budget constraints.

Assists with proposal efforts as needed.

Builds relationships with internal and external clients. May present research results to clients.

Contributes to IR&D studies.

Works on projects involving innovative methods or applications.

Supports business development efforts led by others.

May oversee lower-level staff in extracting and preparing data for statistical/biostatistical analysis and modeling.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field with 2 years of experience or master's degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.
