What You'll Do
As a Lead Electrical Engineering Technician, you'll serve as a technical contributor and design leader within Advanced Power Generation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate electrical design efforts for power generation facilities
Develop and review 2D and 3D electrical deliverables, including:
Duct bank design
Cable tray and routing layouts
Grounding systems
Lighting systems (interior/exterior)
Electrical equipment modeling
Apply advanced electrical design knowledge to solve complex technical challenges
Ensure deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations
Use Bentley MicroStation and related Bentley tools to create and maintain design documentation
Support lighting calculations and illumination modeling (AGI32 experience preferred)
Collaborate across disciplines and departments to align design intent with construction needs
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to technicians and support staff
Support project execution with awareness of budgets, schedules, and client priorities
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
Associate degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology
15+ years of relevant electrical design experience
Power generation industry experience (required)
Strong experience with:
Bentley MicroStation
3D modeling of electrical equipment
Duct bank, cable tray, grounding, and lighting system design
Ability to work onsite at one of the listed office locations
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Design-related field
Experience with AGI32 for lighting analysis (preferred, not required)
Lead or supervisory experience guiding other designers or technicians

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
