Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid)

Pay: $80k+ DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are partnering with a boutique personal injury law firm in Salt Lake City seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This role requires a strong background in both pre-litigation and litigation , supporting cases from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and brings a high level of expertise in personal injury matters.

Key Responsibilities

Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, and trial

Manage pre-litigation and litigation case workflows from intake through resolution

Prepare and organize pleadings, discovery, and case files

Gather and manage medical records and billing documentation

Communicate with clients regarding treatment and case updates with empathy and professionalism

Draft settlement demands and legal correspondence

Track deadlines and case progress using systems such as Filevine and Google Calendar

Coordinate with courts, agencies, and vendors for filings and service of process

Conduct client, witness, and expert interviews

Maintain accurate and organized case documentation

Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, and managing incoming calls

Qualifications

Minimum 1+ year of personal injury litigation or insurance defense experience

Strong knowledge of pre-litigation processes and case development

Proven expertise supporting litigation from start to finish

Highly empathetic with strong client communication and phone skills

Experience with case management systems and e-filing

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
