Summary You will serve as a CONTRACT SUPPORT SPECIALIST of Naval Submarine Medical Research Command. No PCS costs will be paid Responsibilities You will serve as the technical liaison between the vendor and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to ensure government requirements are properly communicated throughout the entire procurement process. Coordinates, and reviews control contract packages. Establishes and maintains contact with laboratory personnel. Acts as the central point-of-contact for information on the status of financed and unfinanced contract requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Utilizing policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation to ensure contract actions are legally compliant. Applying functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures. Monitoring contractor performance, reviewing progress payment requests, and managing contract modifications. Drafting solicitation packages, including Statements of Work (SOW), and evaluation criteria. Utilizing clear oral and written communication. Analyzing requisitions. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
