Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted locations for policy compliance, offering directions and assistance while escalating issues to appropriate personnel when needed.

Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting during service disruptions and/or evacuations, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
