The Role

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Working with a diverse group of designers and engineers within the waterfront support engineering group.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience;

Master's Degree and 0 year of relevant professional experience

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Nice to Have

Waterfront experience preferred, but not required.
