Summary You will serve as a CRANE & RIGGING OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR II in the CRANE AND RIGGING OPERATIONS DIVISION (TRF-220) of the WATERFRONT SUPPORT DEPARTMENT (CODE 200) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. Responsibilities You will be directly responsible for the accomplishment of total operations for the IMA's WHE. You will plan and determinate resource requirements, materials, and the number of subordinates and the @types of skill necessary to accomplish long-range work schedules. You will be responsible for the generation of directives, instructions, procedures and policies, definition and justification of staffing needs. You will responsible for monitoring Crane Team Operations and Rigging Operations; control and assign priorities. You will analyze work progress, assignments and methods of operations to maintain level workloads to meet deadlines and to improve production. You will recommend solutions to staffing problems, engineering requirements, and work operations directed by other supervisor. You will evaluate performance, review personnel actions and recommends selection, promotion or reassignment of personnel. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE Serve as technical authority on all trade matters relating to production techniques and process; plan, coordinate, and direct the Crane shop operations, weight testing and rigging trade. Conduct on-site inspections of cranes and crane operations; communicate effectively orally and in writing. Work to a production schedule meeting the demands of a multitude of shops and working to the priorities as outlined by the Production Management. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
