Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), detailed work instructions, and process flow maps to ensure consistent and reliable production.
Design, develop, and optimize tools, fixtures, weld fixtures, and production equipment to support manufacturing operations.
Provide day-to-day engineering support to production lines, including troubleshooting equipment issues, addressing process deviations, and evaluating nonconformances.
Partner closely with Quality to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process and product issues.
Lead or actively participate in continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to drive measurable performance gains.
Coordinate and execute trials, tests, and process validation activities for new or modified processes, materials, and equipment.
Collaborate cross-functionally on cost reduction initiatives, cycle time reduction efforts, and throughput improvement projects.
Support new product introduction by defining process requirements, developing work instructions, and ensuring a smooth and successful production ramp-up.
Develop and maintain control plans and PFMEAs to proactively identify and mitigate process risks.
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in risk assessments and ergonomics reviews to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
