Position is currently located in Elkridge, MD and will relocate to another site in the National Capital Region in Summer 2026

HOW A SYSTEMS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:?
Manage fact finding, analysis and development of final reports and delivery of presentations related to information technology.??
Responsible for designing,leadingand managing the delivery of mission critical systems and software products.? ??
Conduct organizational analysis and evaluations todeterminefunctional requirements?
Work closely with versatile systems and engineering specialists to prioritize customer requirements, define goals, and refine businessobjectives.???
Coordinates with Network, Security, and Program/Project Management to ensure team alignment?on key initiatives and dependencies between groups.?
Brief and convey technical information to customer leadership and stakeholders.??
Interface directly with other system owners, customer leads, and end users to elicitnew ideasand?innovations that can be built into future systems deliveries.?
Develop and apply engineering and design methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced system requirements, hardware/software interfaces, and applications and solutions.?
Senior level experience with design, development,implementationand maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware platforms and data centers?
The individual should have a strong?understanding of the critical role a Systems Architect plays in delivering value to end users??
Participates in special projects asrequired?
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:?
Required Education and Experience: BA/BS + 10 years?
Certifications: DoD Approved Baseline 8570 IAT level II certification isrequiredprior to start date.?
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain andmaintaina Polygraph?
Required Technical Skills: Evaluate information as it relates to requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification and validation, documentation, and implementation.?
Required Skills: Windows systems, Linux, RedHat 6.5, Oracle, SQL Server 2012, Microsoft IIS, MS Hyper-V/VMWare/ESx/Xen Hypervisors, Windows Server 2012r2/2016, Database, and Data Management, Storage, Switching, Firewall, and Security Systems.?
Hands on engineering experience with NetApp and other storage technologies and concepts?
Experience with SAN,NASand iSCSI storage implementations?
Experience with capacity planning and sizing storage and backup environments?
Experience in performance tuning andoptimizingstorage and backup environments?
Experience with data center migrations and storage replication technologies?

The likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
