Location: Salt Lake City, UT | Payrate: $18.10/hour | Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm

What You'll Do

As a Lab Technician, your day will be structured yet dynamic, with responsibilities that directly support lab productivity:

Ensure all work complies with company policies and quality system guidelines

Handle and properly dispose of laboratory waste, including operating an autoclave

Maintain lab inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and ready

Clean, organize, and maintain laboratory workspaces

Decontaminate equipment for safe removal from controlled areas

Escort and monitor external technicians performing maintenance in controlled spaces

Perform minor troubleshooting and routine equipment maintenance

Support additional tasks to keep lab operations running efficiently

Take on other duties as assigned by Laboratory Operations & Support staff

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

No prior experience required-this is an entry-level opportunity

Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule with early morning shifts

Strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset

Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately

Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with Microsoft Office

Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous laboratory experience (academic or professional)

Working Conditions

Frequent standing for extended periods

Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and ramps

Comfortable wearing PPE for most of the workday

Ability to operate lab equipment and machinery

Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds

Pay Details: $18.10 per hour
