As a Security Guard for Aircraft Base in Long Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:30 AMTue09:00 PM - 05:30 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific protocols for an aerospace and defense location.

Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and completing required reports on patrol activities, incidents, and/or property-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
