Job Title: Experienced Electrical Mechanic
Job Description
This role focuses on leading complex electrical construction and service work, including conduit installation, wiring, and troubleshooting across 120-480 volt systems. You will interpret electrical blueprints, lay out work for large field teams, and ensure all installations comply with NEC code and safety standards. The position combines hands-on electrical work with oversight responsibilities on long-term, local projects.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to plan and execute electrical installations.
Install EMT and other electrical conduit systems, including racking systems and interior fit-out work.
Bend electrical conduit using hydraulic and cyclone benders to meet project specifications.
Pull wire, install wire, and complete terminations for panels, switchgear, generators, and related service equipment.
Perform electrical construction, service work, and electrical installations in accordance with NEC code requirements.
Install and service lighting systems and equipment operating from 120-480 volts.
Troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, company procedures, and local regulations.
Coordinate with project teams to meet schedules and adapt to weekly project assignments.
Maintain a professional work environment by following the company handbook, including call-out procedures and code of conduct.
Support the training and guidance of helpers and less experienced team members in the field.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 8 years of experience as an electrical mechanic.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Proficiency in installing EMT and other electrical conduit systems.
Skilled in conduit bending using hydraulic and cyclone benders.
Hands-on experience pulling wire, installing wire, and wiring panels, switchgear, and generators.
Demonstrated experience with electrical construction, service work, and electrical installation.
Ability to work with 120-480 volt systems, including lighting and service work.
Proficient in electrical troubleshooting across a variety of systems and equipment.
Working knowledge of NEC code and its application to field installations.
Ability to lay out and organize work for large field teams.
Strong understanding of safe work practices and compliance in electrical environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Lift certification for operating supported lifting equipment.
Experience with interior fit-out electrical work and racking systems.
Familiarity with corporate environments, including adherence to a company handbook, call-out procedures, and code of conduct.

Work Environment
The work takes place on long-term electrical construction and service projects in a safe, compliant setting, with no high-rise assignments. Projects are local and operate within a structured corporate environment guided by a company handbook that outlines call-out procedures and code of conduct expectations. Typical hours are either 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., depending on the project, and schedules are set weekly by the internal project coordination team. Work involves the use of hydraulic and cyclone benders, lifts, and other standard electrical construction tools and equipment, with an emphasis on maintaining a professional, safety-focused atmosphere on site.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
