As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Amarillo, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this dynamic role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while reflecting a team-oriented, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $13.93 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual activity and/or site concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, documenting observations and/or reporting security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Support daily operations by preparing clear incident reports, communicating with staff and visitors, and/or following post orders for an unarmed patrol assignment.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
